The relationships between the United States, the European Union, and China are sometimes competitive, sometimes cooperative, and always complicated. Though they may seem distant and abstract, these interactions impact our communities and personal lives in very real and often unexpected ways. From lofty ideals and trade uncertainty to the visas in our passports and phones in our pockets, the actions of these players impact our day-to-day experience.

To unpack these issues and their implications for us here in Freiburg, we are reaching out to you to create a unique event: a participatory panel discussion, based on themes and questions collected from our community – we seek to incorporate your voice in the discussion.
